The Breton Bay Civic Association (BBCA) is the heart of our vibrant neighborhood in Leonardtown. We are a collective of residents—your neighbors—dedicated to working together to maintain the beauty, stability, and high quality of life we all enjoy.
For decades, the BBCA has protected our shared spaces, championed the health of Breton Bay, and organized initiatives that truly make our community special. Whether you are a new resident or a long-time friend, your participation ensures Breton Bay remains one of the most desirable places to live in St. Mary’s County.
Our mission is simple: to protect and enhance the beauty, environment, and shared value of the Breton Bay community. We ensure that our common areas are well-maintained, that our infrastructure is stable, and that the precious ecological health of Breton Bay remains a top priority.
The BBCA's official bylaws define our community and explain how we work to serve you.

Kitty’s parents moved their family to Breton Bay in the early 70s. She ended up raising her two boys in the neighborhood also. Now the grandchildren come to visit and they love going to the playground and the beach.
